How and what do you do to get a date?

I need help with the dating issue.
I would like to just go on a date with a man but do not seem to be attracting them i know i am not too passable so what do i do to attract other or get a date?

I guess there are many ways to attract a man. The most obvious that people are going to tell you is “be yourself but as one goes through life with the same situation of not attracting the opposite sex, you start to wonder what is myself? If been myself is to be spontaneous and rely on my wits then been my self is nothing more than a show portray to attract a suitable mate. On the other hand by been spontaneous and witty causes another chain to be developed and that is charisma. Charisma is the substance of any confidence. Once you have charismatic and confident about your self, you begin to attract not the mate but people in general. This ultimately leads to potentially finding a man. I am, of course, speaking out of my own experience. I too went trough life without success but it wasnt until I left to travel the world that I became aware of my mistakes and silly lines that I was able to attract a diversity of people. I hope I was able to answer a portion of your question , thank you for reading this long paragraph.

`I think there a few golden rules. Always try and keep things light and jolly in correspondence. As Jioio states, confidence is very atttractive. Conversely desperation is not.

I don't think passing is the be all and end all. When you send pictures, send a good mix. Everyone has their favourite pics of themselves and you might have one or two that make you look really good. But make sure you mix with those some that are your everyday look. You don't want to set expectations that aren't met when you meet up.

Also, don't send pics until you think some connection has been made. Don't be pressurised into doing so until you're ready. The other party really does need to get to know you - and they won't through a picture.

Theres a very basic pyschological relationship going on in the dating game - from the very beginning. People (men and women) tend to covet what they can not have - far more than what is accessible to them. If there is a sense of competition and you are a good catch, that makes you that much more attractive. Play it slowwwwwww...... Good things come to those who wait!
