Just thought I'd let everyone know I'm new to this site,so forgive me if I offend anyone with my views and thought's, On politics.
Well, first of all, I've been in this world a long time. Time enough to know that living as a person on the outside of the of politics and watching what they do with people like "Us" and how they think and feel about "Us" and also, the fact that we are seeming treated as second class citizens. The only time "we" are of any value to them is right before election time. Suddenly~! We are not "second class citizens" Our vote is now valuable to them, and So Is Our Money... Well is'nt that amazing~!
Suddenly out of 365 day's of the year "we" are somebody, and just for one day~! But the fact that we are GLBT all our lives, and our money is well sot-after for what ever their cause Is~_? or they need it for.
I can not help but think and feel, that if we are treated as second class, and we have limited rights, not that of stright hetro people do, then perhapes our vote is no good nor is our Money. But I am but one person that speak-out, "What would it be, If thousands of Us felt and said this" to them_? and reacted to them about this that I feel.
I worked and lived forcefully in a male world, inorder to fit-in,as they say, but I really did'nt fit-in at all, really. I was then, as I am now a Trans s----l. And I saw and read what they did and treated Us,back then.
But it's 2006 now, and I'm older and changed now too.wiser perhapes.
And they hav'ent changed ONE-Bit ~acording to my standards anyway.
If there is but one person out that reads this, then at least I got my view out to them who is welling to read it. and I say "Thank You" for that.

Sincerely, LindaMarie

` Hi, this is Miranda & with all due respect, I just cannot fathom the GLBT. They are an amalgam of disparate groups that normally would have nothing to do with each other. They claim to respect & welcome transsexuals but their tolerance for us goes only as far as is politically convenient. Historically, the gay & transsexual communities have never been quick to get along. Gays think we're all just confused gays. Many Straights think we're just confused gays & neither side has had much use for us. The reason for this is simply ignorance. Straights are often afraid of anything that rocks their boat because they are the status quo & Gays are so ---- up on being Gay that they just can't conceive of real transsexuality and why it is more people aren't gay.
I for one am not going to fall for this Left-wing liberal tolerance crapola. My own politics are conservative & that's not likely to change simply because my S-- does. Throw off the coak of victimhood! We are not 2nd class citizens & we don't need to be classified as anything other than what we are. We are not GLBT, we are...women!

.I have to agree that LGBT community is completely unaccepting of trans people, but I think overall the LGBT community is not really accepting, it's not just limited to trans people. I think that unfortunately the trans community is the newest, so it gets ignored the most, just look at ENDA. I think the LGBT community is willing to sacrifice trans rights in order to appear to be compromising, and that is completely unfair.

.Sadly, the same may be said for "Kink Rights." There is a lot of overlap in to the con------- S/m community, but the GLB elements are more interested in seeing their ship rise, and not raising others with it.

My two cents,

Chari
