A study about transgender discrimination

As a visible vocal advocate for the transgender community in my area I was aware of and took part in this study as did the Madison and Milwaukee area trans groups so the figures didn’t astound me but they did dismay me I was well aware of what most of the numbers were.
If any other single segment of society were singled out for this level of discrimination it would never be tolerated and if any segment of society had such a heartbreakingly horrendous suicide rate there would be so many groups trying to help and government studies done with such a public outcry to fix the problem it would be world news but because it’s a transgender problem it gets swept under the rug.
I’m probably preaching to the choir here but in case anyone isn’t aware of how bad things are here is the link for the study results.

I posted a little about this and the link to it on my Face book page and I hope everyone here will post something about this and post the link on their face book page, Twitter, your blog or whatever else you use and try to raise peoples awareness of how bad it really is

As you can see knowone cares (well i do) when i wrote this this had 8 views (9 now) 5 of which were from me because i came back to read the study report a few times.

The report itself makes interesting reading and also shows the difference between the UK and the USA! ok we have bad things happen over here but your countries are far worse than the UK .

I do anything i can and when i can to raise awareness in the UK and today have received another email asking me to talk to a university about transgender issues ect which i have said i will do.

The figures in that report are shocking especialy the suicide rates and i was shocked at the police treatment too , we have none of that over here and the police are highly commended for the way they treat us and are always willing to learn more and i will again be helping our emergency services understand us better in the near future with trainees.

As for your prison system i hope they put a transexual in the correct place! i mean i am a male to female pre-op but if i ever had to go to prison i would under the law have to go to a female prison and the same goes for if i was admited to hospital! i would by law have to be on a female ward or a private room provided if i wished (at no cost to me).

I am from now at every chance i get try to get that word "transgender" outlawed "removed from the dictionary" and i want to see it gone before i die because that is what causes most of the problems in a transexuals life .It is hard enought having to deal with living the life as the person we were meant to be without being put under an umberella with others who do it for fun or ------ kicks , i have said before i realy do not care what others do with thier lives at evenings and weekends but they are not the ones commiting suicide or being discrimated again'st because they play dress up for fun or --- , they go to work as one --- then come home and play at being another "its thier secret" and if they just tried living as a --- they pretend to be just for one week then they would understand. I am not discriminating again'st them i am just pointing out reality and thats what we have to face everyday "reality".

I am lucky in most respects as my life is good but it has not always been that way , i have had to stand up to everyone and say i am me if you do not like it then thats your problem not mine but not everyone can find it within themselves to do that and thats where the suicide and self harm comes in , a transvestite or crossdresser will not commit suicide because they cannot wear a dress today they will just do it tommorow or the next day or next week its not the end of thier world .

99.9% of the suicides are commited by transexuals wether that be MTF or FTM Because it is our lives to be ourselves and not a game.

I am leaving this here as i could go on and on but it is most likely knowone will read it so i am speaking to the undead just like you are , people on this website realy do not care about reality, to most of its members its just a dreamworld and nothing you or i say will wake them up from it.

`Hi sorry but its a fact! you keep on trying over there and i will keep on trying over here "but" surely you can see where this site (or any other similar) is concerned you will find it very hard to find anyone who realy cares about that report "untill something bad happens to them" Thats what will make them think differently and pay attention.

I could put links up to articals about my life on here but if i did i would only get attacked by other members! the fact that i have saved 2 young peoples lives "that i know of" means nothing to anyone else and i do not want a medal or anything but to those young people it means they have a life now and it also means when i die i have left a mark on this world.

I put a link up on a different website over a year ago to an artical based on things that had happened to me in my life and how i overcame them but i had to remove it because it i was accussed of being an attention seeker or another transexual preaching ect yet it was the journalist who came to me for the artical .Those people are deluded because the one thing i do not need in my life is attention as i already get enought now but thankfully it is good attention but where this site is concerned it will only be met with hate again and i would prefere those kind of people not read about my life as i am not providing them with more amunition to fire at me, the ironic thing about those people is they live sad lives so i pressume they think telling others to avoid me or not contact me will make thier lives better, it won't though because i will not let them or anyone beat me.

I am proud of my ------ity and how i have come through hell to finaly be happy but those people i just spoke of are just sad cowards and don't realise people do speak to me so i know exactly what they are saying to others and that is the problem with the so called transgender community "The hate is within it" I prefere my community as its a nicer place and i get treated with respect not stabbed in the back , i just blend in with every other human being but my eyes are more open to what goes on around me.

If you had titled this thread " i need hot sexy times" or sexy tgirl looking for sex" then 50 times more people would have read it because thats the kind of world we live in! sad but true.
