Going for a good intro, first impressions only afford one chance, so let me know if I am doing something wrong.
Been on the site since last November and have chatted with some folks. Haven't met anyone I don't like and havne't experienced any problems. I don't get a huge response and don't really expect one. I would like to belive this site is a growing community.
I wrote a short story in the general discussion fourm called Once upon a time... Don't get much feed back from it, but that's ok, its there as a reminder to think positive and keep on truckin.
As you might have already guessed. I am older and it seems I have somethings to say, meaning I like to write and feel I can be fairly open, but in real life, I am kinda private and not as outgoing as I would like to be.
Anyway, reading the short story is a good way to get to know me and I know how to deal with a critic, so feel free to be honest. I am educated, but that could be up for debate from time to time as well. (ha ha). I am from the Midwest and I like rock music, singing karaokee and travel. Right now, I am finishing up a medical diploma, but open to traveling once I am established again.
For the younger folks, the worse thing that can happen is that I might father you a bit, but I believe in personal freedoms, liberty and making a good decision. So, you can bounce things off me if you like.
