One good suggestion that I hear quit often is that when you block someone you also block them from viewing your page, and from viewing the thirty two million posts that they put up. So basically a block should encase blogs, forum posts, updates, or the blocked individual from looking at your page.
Maybe a limit on new forum topics should be enforced? Maybe the updates involving the rotation of recent updates should be made, like when I sign in instead of seeing the last 14 forum posts, I see a shuffled selection, same with the blog recent activity. A few people have suggested these, and I personally am in favor of it as well. Anyone else like to see this?

Not that it is that important, but there is a 'Site Suggestions' section within the forum (at the bottom of the page).
We'd prefer recommendations/suggestions be entered in that area, just so they are easier for us to find when we want to review members' site comments.
With regards to your suggestions, we have heard a couple of these from a couple of people, but there isn't an easy way to address most of them.
First, while we could block a logged in member from viewing a profile, and we are considering it...all they would have to do is logout and then they would be able to see the profile. So, we are unsure as to whether or not it's worth the programming time for this project.
Our feeling has been that as long as we provide members with options to block contact from members they do not wish to hear from, then that should be sufficient. We aren't really sure why someone is concerned about someone viewing their profile, if the person cannot contact them...but we are still considering this request.
The forum area is a separate area, and blocking the view of specific posts by specific members would be very difficult. Plus, it could make reading a forum thread completely confusing, especially if the person blocked had posted a comment within a forum thread. By blocking their comment, the reader would see what was written before their comment, and then the response to the blocked member's comment...which may or may not makes sense in the 'flow' of the forum thread.
While it might be possible to block individual comments, we think it would be a difficult programming challenge, and that it would likely make the forum more confusing. Nevertheless, we'll discuss it...but this is much less likely to be put in place.
We don't know why you would want to limit new forum topics. We don't want to discourage members from speaking out, so that one is also not that likely. Feel free to explain your thinking though. Perhaps we are misunderstanding the issue.
As to displaying the most recent posts since your last login, we can look at providing a 'shuffle' option, but our thinking was that most people would want to see the latest posts in each site in their account based on how recently they were posted. Again, we'll discuss it, and make a decision based on the amount of programming time that would be required.
Thanks,
.

`Yeah well how about limiting the content of some of these darn buggers man, I mean since it seems it became popular over night to copy post to the forum clippings and lists from other sources. As far as I'm concerned its as good as spam. You every get those chain texts or letters, well that's the sense of un- personal interaction I feel from all of these random postings of obviously plagiarized, copied, lists from outside sources. I mean this is just crazy.
Thanks for your concern, and future issues will be submitted through the proper outlets.

1) There is a Block Management option within the Account area. Members can use this to block contact from other members.
2) It is against the TOS (Terms of Service) to delete existing accounts, only to create new ones 'to start over'. While we are lenient to some degree on this, we don't think it is fair to the members of the site for people to do this just to attempt to change their reputation or perception within the network.
Lastly, due to the tension that is appearing between yourself and another member, we have a pretty good idea of who you are...and if you two are going to start posting negative comments towards/about one another again...BAD things will happen.
So...block anyone you do not want contact from...and if you do not have anything nice to say in the forum, then do not post in the forum.
That's it for now,
.
