Why is finding love so hard?

I have try to always be the "good guy" and each time I get my heart stomp on. Is it so hard for transgender ladies or gay men to understand that I just want loving, meaningful friendship then maybe more. I just wish that somebody could quit thinking that all men, bi-sexual or not, are just want to have s--. Is there someone who can I can turn to? I'm starting to feel like I don't belong anywhere.
