i signed up on this site last september 2011,i've talked and met some guys,all of them are different,some just want online friends,relationships online and some thinks that i am a playboy model,but all of those scenarios are reality that should be understood and accepted,then time came,i've met a certain guy,we had alot of cute and funny moments,it came to a point that he wanted me to come over in the states and making a joint account in a bank so we could save for ourselves,to prepare for coming over in the states,we used to talk alot,on mobile,and video calls,and he even planned to come over here in my country to visit me,and he said nothings gonna hold him back in saving money and coming over for me.i also said that i am afraid to be alone as i grow older and i am afraid in dying alone and this guy even said that's never gonna happen coz he will be there for me,i am sharing this wonderful things coz this all happened to me,i am not just inventing situations coz i am not a scriptwriter and i am not someone who's hungry for sympathy,i am sharing this coz i want everyone to know that i am just a normal girl who wants long term relationship and i am here to testify and prove to everyone that its possible with guts,resiliency and persistency,my point is,even other girls,,if the same things also happened to them like what happened to me,they would also realized that the path they are traveling is almost on the finish line of a commitment and a long term relationship,i never regret that i expected something,i never regret any experience that happened in my life,its not about who's wrong or who's right,it is about making ourselves right for someone's else life and not looking for mr. right or ms.right,it is also not about those happy moments only,it is about having the best understanding of each other's differences coz we all know the fact that all of us are different individuals in all aspect,we should not find someone who has all the similar things that we have or same things that we do,it is about valuing the person in all ways,and being there no matter what,coz we don't have all the months and years to look and wait for the right person,opportunities only comes once in a blue moon and sometimes it is only given to people who is ripe enough and matured to have the real relationship that we dreamed of,love is not about the qualities or personalities that we want in a person,it is about understanding and accepting their whole being and not looking for whats lacking in them,
i will only say ''i love you '' to a person if that's what i feel and if i know that the person is important to me,let's not say we don't need anything,no man is an island,no matter what kind of personality we have,i believe that we should not depend everything in time,in minutes,days,months,or years,
it is about the effort that a person made for the one he or she love,
it is not about how many times you breathe,,but how that special person
took our breath away,,i agree,,time could only tell,but we hold our own destiny,we cannot change anyone's state of mind,but not all the things in our mind is right,that is why God gave us heart,not just for ourselves stay alive,but also to use it in making someone else alive by loving and valuing them in all aspect,we can spend alot of time searching,waiting and *nalyzing if he or she or if things are right for us or if she or he is the same level that we are in,,but not all chances come all at once,opportunity only knocks once,so if we did not open the door,and grab that chance,then we may regret it for the rest of our lives,

`Great post. Sounds like we are looking for the same thing. I have almost given up looking. Lately, I have discovered that I spend more time trying to convince myself that it will just never happen, and that I'm destined to grow old alone. I truely wish that wasn't the case, but I feel I will waste my life if I continue to have hope and nothing ever comes from it, and as a result, be unhappy. I feel that if I know it won't happen, I won't dwell on it, an just move on with my life.

I uderstand what you are saying and I appreciate the kind words. I have not given up hope completely. I guess what I mean is, I have spent a lot of time trying to find some one. And been dissappoint almost everytime. I feel that if I don't try so much, I won't be dissappointed so much. I tend to be happier that way, I guess. Or maybe, just less dissappointed and depressed about it.

I will always have hope. I just don't have as much as I use to.

`i think the best way is to put love and hope inside our hearts and not expecting anything from someone,i also have a share of dissapointments and depressions,and pains,i realized we can't get used to it,we can't get immuned from them,we just need to live with them,for me,i am not waiting or looking for the right one or best one for me,
my belief is to make ourselves right for someone else's life,and at the end of the day,what matters is not what's right or best,what matters is... what or who's making us happy.
