Respect and Politeness

Just a quick note to everyone here.

We love that the forum is a place where members feel comfortable engaging one another in spirited discussion...but many times we find the posts to contain somewhat disparaging comments aimed at the members who are posting (instead of focusing solely on the discussion).

Personal attacks are not permitted within the forum!

We would like to remind everyone that it is much better to take the high road when posting. You only make yourself look bad when you make negative comments about other members.

Aretha said it best...R E S P E C T!

Everyone has their own frame of reference when they come into the site, but please give everyone here the respect that you would like them to give you.

Please take a moment to review the Posting Guidelines that we have posted at the top of the forum area, just to remind yourself of the rules and regulations.

We want to encourage more people to join in the discussions here, and making the forum a welcoming (non-threatening) area is key to that happening.

So, if you can't say something nice...just don't say something mean!

But definitely...say something!

Looks like it is time for another reminder to everyone to play nice.

There has been some rising tension between a couple of members on the site lately, and while each has been somewhat careful to be circumspect in their negative comments to/about one another....we are tired of it.

Do not make negative comments about any other member, even if you think you are being clever by not mentioning a specific name.

We try to stay out of the forums, and let everyone express themselves as they please...but we do not like it when the forum area begins to have a negative 'vibe'.

Karma is a B----, so keep that in mind.

Do not use the forum area to make comments that denigrate other members.

Members of Trans Passions probably deal with enough 'judging' from the outside world...they don't need to be 'judged' here too.

If you don't have something nice to say to / about someone, then keep it to yourself.

Every now and then we bump this thread back to the top just to remind people that the forum area is not to be used to attack other members.

Trans Passions is an INCLUSIVE site that welcomes the entirety of the Trans community.

Members (and 'admirers') of the Trans community deal with enough judgement offline!

They certainly should not be judged (or ridiculed) by members within the Trans community online too.

Try to treat everyone here with respect and compassion, because there are as many different stories leading people into Trans Passions, as there are members of Trans Passions!

Ok...time for a group hug!
