Dont know much about all this "word" usage, just know where to stick the meat and mash potatoes on my dinner plate. Plus you cant octracize a man who feels and has leanred that he is more comfortable with his body language and actions, especailly if they speak louder than anything else. It aint right to try and label a communication in relationships between people, place it in a neat little box like your doing. Thats a socialism screw up, and is mostly responsible for the downfall of countries. And the direction i think you try to go with it is you dont perfer labels... or atleast unwanted ones. And i dont want to be labeled unjustly either with out the right of innocence till proven guilty. So if I use the wrong words, then the most i can express is that you can't judge them, especailly if you don't know where the mans heart is. This of course is under the assumption your talking about "men" and not little spoiled soft palmed "boys".

`Very nice post, clearly written and easily understood. It is a shame however, in my personal opinion, that the type of person needing to read and comprehend it the most will never take the time to read it, let alone put it into practice. It has been my experience that any adult lacking manners will not change his or her behavior based on a simple reading or suggestion to do otherwise. Poor manners seem to be lifelong I am afraid. Putting all label's and gender aside isn't that what anyone desires? To just be engaged in a civil manner by ones peers?

| I agree with the others... This is a great and well written thread. I am glad you wrote this. I have a colleague at work who doesn't seem to know how to tiptoe around my feelings. I think this will be a good read for him. Thanks again. I think i just found my voice in that thread |
