Hey everyone!
I hope you´re well!
I am writting here to share with you informations about the SRS. I live Brazil, and I know if you got this information but in Brazil we can have it for free. But, of course it takes takes, first you have to do a psicologic tratmeant which takes two years and after you done it you are ready for the surgery, then you are able to get in the line.
Nowadays, there are 129 people in the line and they are doing 1 per month, it takes time, but the doctors are making their efforts to operate more gilrs although there are much burocracy and prejudice, but it is a big step.
Also here, now, is possible to have all documents corrected even before the surgery, and you can marry! But also takes time, bt also you dont have to pay!
How is the situation in your country? Let´s help each other. About prices, many girls fly to Thailand to have it, do you know how to do it and how much does it cost?
If you speak portuguese, and want to read an interesting article I wrote about transexuality just check in my blog (removed)
Hugs

`interesting, I feel happy about reading your threat. also it would be a good opurtunety to learn how this things is diffrent countrys and place..
I arn't really satified with my own country (denmark) when it comes to transgender but I will join a meeting soon and hopefully it might help so we might get better rules than the ones we got now.. it will be the first meeting in denmark about transgender so I am looking forward to it..
-----------
well let me true give some few details..
to have homones in my country is not so hard, if you have the acception from your doctor and find a gynaecologist who know about it and will help you then thats it. you need to find it yourself, and not all having the right knowlegde about transexuals + they might demand that you go to a psycologist and get permission there first.. ( I am about to start these things so it not all into details..)
surgery is much more difficult.. and it manly because we still got alot of unfair rules about transexuals.. you dosent nessesary need to be under by homo threatment..
you might start going to your normal doctor you can send you to the only hospital in Denmark who deal with transexuals. you will talk to one of the people there minimum 2 year before surgery...
it pretty strick and many people wont get permissions..
if you get permission then you can have surgery.. however ftm should go somewhere ells if it bottom surgery but im not 100% sure.
if you wanna be registered as male or female it can only happent if,
1, you got the dignose transexual and agree your "mental ill"
2, if you get d. (there no low who specially under transexuals so the rules transexuals is followed by is rules about being --- criminals castration rules and so on..)
if you got past these then you can be male or female on register..
have a female/male CPR, have a male or female name, and so on and on...
I hope it wasnt 2 messy to understand..
this is if you want to know a little more into sweden and denmark^^

`thanks for sharing this! here in america it depends on the state as to the regulations of what one must do. but where i live it's easier to get your gender marker and changed than it is your name lol which yes can be done before you have the surgery. as for where i will have mine done i think im going to Dr. Reed in Florida as i hear his prices are a LOT less than other places and he's considered to be one of the very best in regards to post surgery ability to achieve ------. which is extremely important if ya ask me. but anyway thanks again for sharing!
