EDIT: Today I noticed that "somehow" my original post "disappeared" ...
so I am re-posting ALL the original post/text ...
==============================================
16June2013
Here/Below is an extract of an email I just sent to "PN" ...
Quote: allo ...
I'm aware that PN might begin to find "hearing from" me meaningless,
but that is up to PN ... anyway ...
3) The PN TrP "updateprofile" page (& TG) language/terminology
(in general) is "incorrect"
"Please use your biological gender OR
the gender you self-identify with if you prefer.
You can enter additional transgender related information
further in the registration process."
See @Facebook
There is no such thing as "biological gender".
The correct terminology is "genetic sex".
I/People am/are not a MALE or FEMALE ...
(any more than I/People am/are a Caucasian or a "...")
MALE or FEMALE (or intersexed) ... that is someone's "gene-sex" ...
PN TrP ignores Intersex.
To be correct PN could/should give 3 options for "gene-sex"
Furthermore, I am not a "man" - (just) because my "gene-sex" is male ...
see Gender is NOT (Genetic)Sex
The following is incorrect
ADONI is a:
Man looking for a Woman
My S-- is male.
My gender is (so-called) TG (as opposed to CIS ...)
Does PN (search functionality) consider TrP members
who say their gene-sex is male to be women?
ADONI is a:
"TransGendered" genetic male seeking a "woman"; i.e., CIS-female or TG-male
would be correct ...
... whatever ...
thanks for listening ...
Bon week-end ...
Also see my post in "Current Events" for more on "sexism", SVP ...
I am not running a poll because ... among other reasons ... "Devil's advocates"
will/would just vote contrary to what they think my vote would be ...
... whatever ...
Bon week-end ...

A couple of points have been raised in the above post.
[The Passions Network Trans Passions "updateprofile" page (& TG) language/terminology (in general) is "incorrect"ยป
"Please use your biological gender OR
the gender you self-identify with if you prefer.
You can enter additional transgender related information
further in the registration process."]
While you may assert that the use of the term 'biological gender' is incorrect, we believe that most people understand that when we say 'Please use your biological gender OR the gender you self-identify with if you prefer'...that we are saying they can enter either the biological S-- that they were born OR they can list the gender they wish to be identified with.
[Passions Network Trans Passions ignores Intersex]
This is incorrect, as we provide a number of options within our Groups area, including but not limited to:
Intersexual
Cisgender
Pansexual
Genderqueer
...and others.
When members use the Trans Passions Groups Search system, they are able to search based on any group they choose, including Intersex.
Separately, we have just added the term 'Intersex' into the general Gender options within the network (as opposed to only having Intersex listed within the Trans Passions Groups area).
Thanks,
.

... just want to "bump" this thread back
into the "Latest forum posts" section of my profile ...
to make it easier for profile visitors to find this thread ...
seeing how (as far as I can tell ... so far) the PN forums
do not have any forum "Search by thread starter" functionality ...
nor any forum search functionality at all ...
(as far as I can tell ... so far)

I'm not sure what you are hoping to achieve by "bumping" your message threads: Your messages appear in your profile (assuming anyone reads beyond the pictures), and so anyone interested enough (again assuming they read, or are capable of doing so) can follow what you have written, if they wish and if they are interested.
These message boards are not terribly active at the best of times, so messages shouldn't be too hard to find.
Otherwise people will either read and reply, or not.

Perhaps this "issue" is one for the Site Suggestions message board?

Borrowing one of your statements from another thread ...
a1oenesome wrote: this ... probably doesn't belong in this discussion. a1oenesome wrote: I'm not sure what you are hoping to achieve ... I'm not sure why you're not sure what I'm hoping to achieve ...
as far as I can tell ... so far ... only one's five (5) most recent forum posts
appear in one's profile ... In my TrP profile all 5 most recent posts
were linking to the same thread. Not any more ... clear?
If not ... email me ... if so inclined ... and we can discuss ...
a1oenesome wrote: Perhaps this "issue" is one for the Site Suggestions message board? Perhaps "Perhaps" here really means something more like "OBVIOUSLY"? dunno ...
in any case ... "they" will read/review this post,
so "they" will see it and can do whatever or nothing in response.
So ... I don't see why I should be bothered ...
especially if "nothing" (soon) might be the likely response ...
email me ... if so inclined ... and we can discuss ... :)

24October2013
I have posted a TransPass (TrP) blog about how Microsoft doesn't
know how to "address" / refer to / deal with the Transgendered community.
See ~ Huffington Post story
I am hoping that I will find out that it is possible to EMBED YouTube vids
into PN blogs ... so far I have not found out how to do that ...
The/My blog has a link to a YouTube video that is very relevant
to the topic/issue of "Language & Sexism"!
EDIT: 24October2013
Posts I made in the/my TrP Current Events
"Do We Have the Bible to Thank" forum thread are also
VERY relevant to the topic/issue of "Language & Sexism"!

I would like to point out to PN (& others) that
"Transsexual" (aka Transgendered) is NOT an "orientation"!
