Someone please help me with uploading pictures :/

Hey, I have literally just joined and the only thing I need to do to complete my profile is add my pictures, I have already tried to add 3 JPEG format pictures but it just won't let me, it keeps saying they are the wrong format

Is this because they need to be approved by staff before they are added or am I doing something wrong? I don't want to miss out on potentially meeting someone because I don't have a picture on my profile Sad

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
