Lately, I have been struggling to understand what the heck I am. I was born a male but I prefer the traditional "female role" in and out of the bedroom. I am "feminine" in many respects but still have some "masculine" traits as well. I have always been repulsed by my testicles as I see them as useless appendages and see my penis as more of a (slightly) oversized clitoris. I don't want to become a "woman" but would rather be treated as a "female man". Am I alone?

`What you described is typical to most all transsexuals with minor exceptions. Some mtf transsexuals consider themselves women and don't want to be considered men in any aspect, others consider themselves their birth gender with feminine/masculine attributes. In short, these are personal decisions. How much other people have influence over your life and culture does play a part, nevertheless it's still from personal choices what to make of it. You are most certainly not alone.

`You aer defintiely not alone. But I do know that feelin gall too well. I can only say from my own personal persective. I am a Sissy Boy/Male, I know that this is not exactly the same to you and how you feel. I have no need or desier to become a woman in anyway. Though for me, what am below is not so much of issue, Iam of the tyoe where for me the clothes maketh the Sissy. An altered qote, but I hope you can relate in someway where I am going with this.

I feel to be more like a baby, with a need to dress and be like a baby girl, My only need is to change nt my gender, but purely change the way I dress and live n a full time scale, I know many people do not understand that either any more than a trans person wishing to not undergo a S-- change, but regard themseves to be female all the same.

`In my experience the only transsexuals that absolutely insist on getting full S-- changes (no matter the cost) have either an uncommon amount of anxiety about their genitalia up to being completely suicidal about it. Most of them seem to stop at breast augmentation. Transsexuals that identify with gay culture often have either no anxiety or less anxiety about their genitalia than the ones that identify with straight culture. Heck, there are straight cultured transsexuals who want to have children with men even though it isn't possible short of adoption. Seems there is much more pressure placed on them for whatever reason.

As for the last poster being "a sissy" is in the "fetish category" which would mean that its an atypical means for any transsexual to experience how they feel and most would probably be repulsed by the concept. In fact, I don't even think a gay culture transsexual would identify with it and most of them are perfectly fine with being considered male in some way, just so long as they are in the form of an attractive woman. Sissy's are just men that fantasize about being women and they don't care to make any of it a reality. Actual transsexuals always make a concerted effort to actually be women until they are satisfied with the results and that is common to both gay and straight cultured ones. Men identifying as sissy are about the same as a typical gay man in this regards.

`As a transsexual, I can say I have learned enough to not be "repulsed" by someone's choice in presentation or identity. And I'm unsure as to why you would say I would be? Anyway, petbabyamy, you be who you are, dress how your comfortable, and if anyone has a problem, they can shove it where the sun don't shine! There are an unfortunate number of idiots on this web site who seem to think having met three or four trans people, they know everything about our culture, but we are all individuals to, so you just be you and be happy.

Transsexualism is not one culture. It's actually a few very distinct cultures which conflict with one another and each has people who transition for very different reasons and attitudes. A very straight cultured transsexual is going to object to a "----aphication" of transsexualism as a fet--- in any sense and those that do tend towards fetishes probably might not have met very many other transsexuals and maybe found indirect support from gay culture. Here you are going to see some biased attitudes about transsexualism that formulated from cross-dressing males (who are not transsexual in any sense) which ironically influences the attitudes of straight people and transsexuals both. So, you have transsexuals who are fine with considering themselves their birth gender or are into a fet--- because of an association with gay culture. I apologize if it seems that I am being judgmental, I just know that some people are confused and I want to help people think clearly about themselves and what they are really doing.
