What really turns me off is when someone wants a man to "treat her like a
real lady." WTF does that mean? I treat all humans with the same respect and compassion, or at least I try. Treating a "lady" as more fragile, or more privileged, is 100+ years out of date. I can't respect that.
And if I wanted an ordinary woman, what would I be doing on this site in the first place? I love women, too, but there is something special about being between-genders that really arouses my passions.
I'm looking at you because I think you might be more exciting, more real, than most women (or men), because of the effort you have made to choose your gender. If I just think of you as a woman, you have lost your most appealing feature.
Our society tries to beat us down until "normal" seems like the best we can do. Don't fall for it. We can do much better than that.

`Good thing it's not about what you want. It's about showing respect to those who did not choose their gender and happened to be born in a body that's not coherent with their gender identity. Gender is a spectrum and some people are ok with being "in between". But for those who are requesting to be treated as their gender identity, it shows disrespect to do anything other than that. So while you are entitled to your opinion...don't expect to have much luck in this community. You have a lot to learn.

Generally speaking, I agree with you. But in my experience, when a mtf says "treat me like a real lady", she is saying "don't treat me as an object". Chasers often don't treat them like women, but as a fet--- to experience.

Yeah, pretty sure that's the part that turns most mtf off. I'm sure you don't mean to sound like you want them for that one little thing, but that's how it sounds :/ I understand the attractiveness of the effort they have to put in, but when you talk to them, most just want to be thought of the same way they think of themselves, as a woman.

I agree with you guys! You should definitely respect a woman and treat her as a woman, regardless what S-- they were initially born with. I am proud of my transgender roots and I don't shame away from that but my gender identity remains as a female, just as the gender identity of a cisgendered female. It's true that there can be physical differences, but psychologically, both cisgendered woman and transgendered woman remain the same.

I think you people are complicating it all.
I think OP at heart has some feminist views.
"Treat me like a lady" literally for transgendered women means,
- she romanticizes about being swept of her feet.
- she wants to have doors held open for her.
- she wants to be cuddled
- she wants to receive flowers and tokens of devotion.
- she wants to come as first priority in a mans heart
What she doesn't want:
- play tackle football with you
- chew snuff and spit
- get wasted, puke all over the township, then pass out in some ditch.
- treated in any way like a man or a low class hooker.
