ugh ... how do i get im 2 work?

i have never tied iming w/ any1 b4 i got on this site but cant figure out why it wont let me im w/ any1

if i try 2 im some1 on here, it says "user has already logged off"

if i get an incoming im, the im box is hollow and says i need a plugin but i have tried downloading the plugin but it won't work ... n its not a problem w/ popup blocker ... i can get plugins for any other site on the web but not 4 this 1

is there any1 who can help me ... ogh

Don't worry, it isn't you. There is a glitch in the IM system.

We are going to look into it later this week.

We are working on a COMPLETE re-design of the entire network, and that is taking priority...so if the IM glitch can be fixed quickly, we will hopefully be able to fix it by Friday.

If it looks like it's a serious problem, then we may wait until the new network design rolls out (which is still 3-4 months away)...as there is likely to be a different IM system in the new design.
