Hows it going? I've been on T for about 4 months now and I'm loving everything about it. I getting facial hair all ready, my muscles are getting huge and my S-- drive, well it couldn't be better.

However

I've noticed that its not necessarily hot chicks or straight S-- that gets me h---- though. It gay ----, two guys going at it that just, puts me in this lust trance. I have a girlfriend and thankfully she things two guys are hot together but I can't let her know that its the videos that turn me on and not her anymore. I'm just wondering if could be in results of the T or if maybe its a deeper issue.

Side Note:
Before I discovered myself I was with men, and I hated it. So please don't try and say that my transitioning is a mistake.

`Hormones are funny things. I'm as cisgender as the sky is blue, but I know a thing or two about the way the endocrine system and tinkering with it messes with the mind. When you were living as a female, men judged you on the way you presented, and maybe that detracted from your enjoyment. We know guys tend to be more visual. Heck, you've said you're more visual since being on T, in so many words. It may be a process of becoming more comfortable with yourself and your s----lity. s----l orientation is a different issue, but it is related. Enjoy being yourself and being more comfortable. You only get one shot, hot stuff.

`Strange, this has also happened to me and my interests. I've settled with the powers of perception. Before letting others know my wishes to transition (and otherwise being viewed as female), I had absolutely no interest in men. Mind you, these would have been straight men in most cases. They would have sexalized me as female. NOT something I was interested in. Since coming out to people, taking hormones, and passing 100%, I've found that through these different perceptions, I would be attracting different men: gay men. Gay men have no interest in s----lizing you as female because, well, they're gay and thus have no interest in women. That being said, I think I've put to rest my concerns about s----lity. How can anyone really have a good feel if they've been perceived wrong for so long, you know?

As for losing interest in your girlfriend-- that has happened with a lot of relationships I've known where boyfriends were finally able to get a hold of some hormones. I don't know why that is. Perhaps the excitement of finally being where we should have been so long ago makes us open our eyes and want to try new things again? I don't think you should feel bad about it.

`I wouldn't worry about it. I'm a post-hormones FTM and I am *all about* guys, but when it comes to watching ----, I prefer straight ---- all the way. I wouldn't mind making gay ----, but watching it doesn't fire me up in the least. My theory is penis envy; that I find it harder to "project" myself into the fantasy when it's two dudes, because that's not the equipment I've got.

In any case, you like the people you like, and you like the ---- you like. One doesn't invalidate the other.

`Sometimes hormones can change your orientation. No idea why that happens, but it does. Happened to me.
