In an effort to revive this section and get some conversation going I'd figure I'd ask and see what everyone is watching?

I currently love Castle and NCIS, though Criminal Minds is growing on me as well. Still not to sure about Terra Nova though, need to see a few more episodes before I make up my mind.

I have to say though, I despise Glee. I've never actually watched it, but as it comes on at the same time as NCIS(my favorite show) my roommate would always get to the single TV we had before I could and watch Glee, making me miss my favorite show As a result I have vowed to hate Glee forever. Irrational maybe, but it denied me my NCIS and the awesomeness that is Gibbs.

` I am not much of a glee fan myself, and it is at least comforting to know that I am not alone lol. Anywho, I like Law and Order SVU quite a bit (mainly bc my future husband stars as the lead actor), and Desperate Housewives is my Sunday evening ritual. I have been known to spend an entire Saturday watching Lifetime movies lol. And the Young and the restless. Or Oprah. Annnnnnd a lot of other random shows. Toodles ))

`I'm a big Sci-Fi and Fantasy fan, though more Fantasy lately. I don't watch a great lot of TV these days but have all of Buffy, Angel and Charmed and half of Stargate on DVD.
Also a fan of Studio Ghibli.

@bdiamond9, yes I have seen 10th Kingdom, still have it on VHS somewhere!

I finished watching this series on Netflix last week! It was such a great show! I really loved the anti-hero aspect of it. I haven't seen the live-action films. Were the films any good? What's the spin-off movie? I'm usually not a fan of live-action remakes of animated shows - take Blood, for example... great show, horrible live-action remake.

The live action films were made in Japan. Made some changes of course like L busted Light instead of Near(which didnt exists along with Mello)to make it short so I still prefer the animated series than the movie. I agree with you about the anti-hero aspect of that series. Evil, but I even wished I could really possess such thing as death note and have a death god on my side. The spin off movie is focused on the main characters rival. Just made a different story for him as the hero.

I'll have to check them out. I've read rumors of a US remake. Yes, it would be quite tempting to have a death note. And that's what made it really compelling to watch... that descent from the temptation to use it to do good things in to feeling like a god and having that power corrupt. The last anime that I felt this way about was Fullmetal Alchemist.
