`I love it when they call me IT, NOT! My oldest friends sometimes do that and I always teach them a lesson.
The two I have received are She-male and IT.
Speaking of Pretty princess, my friends have been calling me princess and it has replaced my actual name these days. It originated for all the bad reasons I assure you. But I don't mind hehe.
While I am rambling a couple nights ago I was in Walmart and I said to my boyfriend ,"Hold my purse!" the cashier said "Make sure to massage the princess's feet and kiss her hand before bed aswell." My friends all choked out and it was this funny scene.
I guess I am being overly authoritativ these days in all the cutest princessy ways haha.

`Nothing wrong with that! Lol the best way to be authoratative is when it's cute. Good job, thumbs up.

`I get really unconfortable and angered when people call me "He" and "Him". If someone is just learning or getting used to it, I usually go a little easier on them. For everyone else, always refer to me as "she" and "Her". I am a woman! That's another thing, I don't like being called a "TS" girl. I may only use it in certain cases. But I am a woman. I don't like all these silly titles. "-------" and "chicks with d---s" is horribly offensive to me.
Everytime I go to restaurants or stores, I always get called Miss. Or if I am with a girl friend they say, "Can I help you ladies" or "Hello ladies, what would you like?" This makes me happy!
So far I haven't had problems in public, thank goodness!

Well now I know what is appropriate and what is not, thanks for the help. I always try to be polite to everyone and no one deserves to be insulted.
Unless it involves goofing off with friends and that your thing. But it is all a matter of preference what one person wants may not be what someone else mite fancy.

"transsexual" with a lower case T is unacceptable? huh?
"Transvestite" is OK if she is a transvestite, but ONLY then.
"-------" is OK if she works in ----, but ONLY then.
"-------" is OK if she is a Thai prostitute, but ONLY then.

Not so sure about "gurl". My email address and youtube name contain "gurl", but many other trans women find it offensive.
I don't mind the term "t r a n n y" either, but many other trans women hate it. It is even censored by the mods here!
Personally, I find "T Girl" even more diminutive than "t r a n n y", but I wouldn't be offended by it.

`Yeah well I remember when "colored" .was appropriate for people non Caucasian background. Really I feel it is all relative based on trend. When I wrote this blog though I was taking poll from many different transgendered women. So I did have feesback before I wrote it.

Yes indeed. Archaic terms like "negro" or "colored" are not considered PC today, although they once were.

`I am a person not a thing. Never call me "It". Even if you work in ---- the terms L B, the other S word, the T word, and that other term are deemed offensive off-set so unless the camera is rolling and the dialogue is scripted, expect to get slapped or hit in the No-Go Zone. I am a woman refer to me as such don't use a term or pet name you wouldn't use for a genetic girl. This should be common sense. Don't call me princess it's just an alternative way of saying B----. Don't call me "Lola" it's not my name and it's rude.

`I had to call the police on a family member today who kept calling me a "He" a "Him", an "It", a "Freak" and every other offensive term you can imagine. I told her: "I am a woman, and you WILL refer to me as a woman!" so she responded by hitting me with an ear of corn. That was when I called the police and had them talk to her. She apologized to me in the end, but I did not accept her apology. I am now done with that family mamber and we are no longer on speaking terms, her and I. She had been harassing me for an entire year prior to this incident, so today finally everything came to a head. I always remind people: My name is Jessica, and I am a woman. Deal with it. Lol. Some people though, they never learn and never will, sadly. Massachusetts was the 16th state to sign it into law that speaking that way to a Trans Woman can be prosecuted as a hate crime. Had I pressed charges, that family member would be cooling her heels in jail right now, but because it was a family member I did not press charges. Even so, I warned her that if she ever hits me again with anything... family or not, she's going to jail for it.

`I've never cared about the terms used, it's the spirit in which they used that matters.
