Nothing really seems to be happening on this site...I even used the chat and no one was there. All of the forum posts are pretty old too. This site just kinda feels like a ghost town. Anyone out there?

I guess it's not really very active. I see a lot of "former members", which means, to me that people have given up on finding anyone here. I've not yet received any messages, although I've sent out a few.

`hmm.... in the old days when there weren't that many people on the internet there were actually scheduled times for people to get together in a chat room sometimes with a specific subject in mind and other times just for socializing.
Maybe someone could start such a thing here as an icebreaker? I am not sure how it could be communicated to people or otherwise carried out. Maybe someone else does???

`I wish it was more alive. I'm hoping maybe if I be more active I can at least..be doing my part in keeping it alive. I really like this site, I'm just disappointment at the lack of activity. Lol.

`I tried that for a while and then realized most people don't even really bother with using the forum; and as far as traffic this website tends to have more active users with a really high turnover to new members, so that's not the reason. I would say the real reason has to do with the fact that there are a wide variety of people on here who come for very different reasons with only a small selection of people to chose from which is rather ironic, especially since most people insist on finding someone local which probably makes it near impossible to find anyone on this website. It's only slightly easier when distance isn't a factor.
