Australian man looking for his happily-ever-after I'm David, a 43-year-old man from Adelaide in South Australia. Yes, you might have seen me before. No, I can't believe I'm still single either! I'm 6'1" (185cm) tall, about 90kg (~200lbs), dark brown hair with some grey in it now (I've been told it looks alright and somewhat distinguished...) and blue eyes. I work in IT in the Private Education Sector and have a great, permanent, stable job.

As for my hobbies and interests - I have to admit I do love my sport! I used to play Aussie Rules Football in the winter & cricket in the summer (although I'm now retired from both), but now my energies are directed into coaching young men in these sports. I do enjoy watching sport as well - with sport being defined as two teams of people & a ball of some sort, or the Olympics. I can't stand motor racing and 'extreme' sports hold minimal interest to me.

Now this isn't to say that all I do is sport! I have many other wide and varied interests. I love going to the movies, and I have quite a reasonable DVD collection (for cosy nights in). I love comedy & love laughing - and I have no problem laughing at myself either! I'm a big Astronomy Geek. I'm also really big on trivia & quiz nights - in fact I've been on a couple of Aussie TV Quiz Shows before! I have a pet cat that demands some of my attention too, and would love a dog like a Kelpie or Border Collie one day. As for my relationship past, yes I am divorced and I have a beautiful, happy 12 year old daughter - she stays with me on a regular basis & we have an awesome relationship!

I love to travel overseas as much as I can & have been lucky enough to to Japan & the USA twice each and Western Europe, Thailand & NZ once each. I also travel around Australia frequently. I can (still) speak fluent Japanese after living there for a year, and I'm now undertaking Spanish classes too. I enjoy hiking, spicy food & good conversation.
