Wow, what to say?

I'm nineteen years old and have just been through a terrible experience with a guy I love. Now I'm looking for friendship to help get me by, and perhaps for more if I hit it off with anyone.

I guess I dislike the idea of this site, but I figure getting my status out of the way up front could help me find someone who better understands me in the long run.

I'm pretty geeky. I read a lot of fantasy books, watch a lot of fantasy and sci-fi shows, and I paint Warhammer figures in my spare time. I listen to most kinds of metal, death included, and have a passion for languages. I love to write and am an aspiring author.
