nice guy looking for friends/romance There is no brief way to describe who I am. I am someone's son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend. I am loving and open-minded yet sometimes distant and suspicious. I am intelligent and a hard worker. I want to succeed in life. Success, to me, is not about money but about happiness. I don't lie except sometimes on the internet. I attempt to maintain the dignity of others, as well as my own dignity, in most situations. I try very hard to understand people's differences. I have learned to enjoy most differences quite a bit without exoticizing people or the respective cultures from which they come. I currently work in Student Affairs at a local university. I don't use drugs at all except nicotine. I enjoy a good beer, glass of wine or champagne from time to time but not often. I never acquired a taste for hard liquor. I don't automatically judge people negatively if they use drugs or alcohol. I have experienced many terrible things in my life. I have experienced even more positive things in my life. I have lived life long enough to learn never to say "never."
