Forty year old MTF transsexual woman beginning serious transition. Separated and starting over emotionally. Lesbian oriented with some bi leanings. Intelligent, well-read and open-minded. Shy and emotional. Self-employed professional artist and designer who hopes someday to break into writing for a living.

My life is currently all about transitioning it seems. It has a way of taking over everything else. Just starting hormones and planning to have FFS early next year. Beyond living for the day I get to really start my life finally I am coping with depression, trying to restart my design business and starting over after separation from my wife. I never expected to be dating again, yes here I find myself. Conflicted about even trying until after I finish transitioning to full female status, but decided no reason not to at least try.
