After years of self-imposed denial, I have finally come to terms with the fact that I am attracted to what I am attracted to - it does not matter to me how that person came into the world if I am drawn to her now. Yes, for many years I felt like I had to fit in to conventional ways of thinking and behaving for fear of being mocked or criticized - and you know what? I've never been truly happy in life - even during a long marriage. So enough is enough - I've had it with trying to be who others may expect me to be; perhaps that attitude is the one that will allow me to finally find true happiness and contentment.
