Hi There I'm new to Michigan, to Grand Rapids, to the seemingly two seasons this North Midwestern land has. (those two season appear to be Winter season, and then Construction season, summer and spring have moved south in the interest of self preservation)

Before coming to Grand Rapids to attend law school I was living in Wilmington NC, it's the strand against the Atlantic Ocean, or the Beach. (please note that if you call the sand at Lake Michigan the beach, I will inherently think of land at either the Atlantic or Pacific. Beaches area dangerous, just watch Jaws). For the last couple of years I was there, I worked as a Director of a Nonprofit foundation. This sounds fancy, but what it really means is that i whored myself as a professional beggar for charity. It's okay, I enjoyed it, not the whoring so much as the working for a good cause part.

I have a B.A. in History...no, I'm not that boring, but I figured I suck at Math, Science is a lot of math, and I speak English so where's the challenge in that.

I'd like to meet someone who I can have fun with. (goes without saying right, it'd be creepy to write that sentence going the other way). It's important to me to find a person that likes to laugh, (if you define or spell aforementioned "fun" with the letters "d.r.a.m.a." then you are wrong...that's way too many letters) I'm interested in meeting someone who likes people and is comfortable hanging out in different settings. (please note that since we are in Michigan these settings will all be cold, please dress appropriately for field trips)((i really miss field trips))(((and naps))) ((((and recess))))Someone to travel with, drink with, dance with or just take a night in with.

I'm athletic or delusional about that fact. I like running , cycling, schooling my friends in tennis, whatever comes up, I'm down for. I'm looking forward to being in Grand Rapids, i hear there are some great concerts, fun bars, coffee shops, and people.
