Broad-shouldered, muscular, intense green eyes, greying just a little at the temples and forelocks.

Heavily tattooed (working on right and left sleeves). Will be starting T in early 2012.

Stepping out into the world again after a 9 year relationship.

Not sure I want to go the marriage route again, but who knows? Right now, though, the crystal ball is pretty jaded.

It would be nice to have a local lady friend, though, who enjoys some of the same things I do, such as:

Family and Friends - I have two adult kids, ages 25 and 19. I love them deeply and am extremely proud of them both. I'm close with my family, including my parents and grandmothers. I keep a small, tight circle of friends. For me, it's quality, not quantity that counts.

Good literature of all sorts - though I'm really partial to vintage science-fiction (70's era and earlier) and poetry (especially Beat era). Funky, independent bookstores and libraries are favorite spots of mine.

Eclectic music - everything from alternative, to folk/bluegrass, to classical and back again. I am not fond of most pop music, though occasionally a good one comes along. I play guitar and have been known to enjoy a captive audience. (Please note the difference between *captive* and *captivated*...it's huge).

Tattoos - I love them and am working on being inked to the gills. I'm picky about them, though. They all have a story.

Out of the ordinary dates - dinner and a movie can be fine, but what about something like hot air balloons, fire dancing, or naked pygmy fingerpainting? I like creativity.

Fitness - I'm not neurotic about it, but I am fairly consistent. Being in the gym is one thing I like to do independently (6 days a week, 5 am to 6:30 am usually), but I'm completely open to bike rides, hiking/long walks, or pick up basketball games with others.
