I'm a 53 yr old crossdresser.Been dressing since age 7.Told my ex girlfriend few yrs ago and though we've since broken up it was nothing to do with my dressing and we rermain good friends.
The last 2 years have been hell.I've suffered with stress and depression,had a heart attack and had problems at work.
The positives to come out of all this are that I have at long last been able to open up to people.My GP and counsellors have been wonderful and they all know about my crossdressing.In addition my sister and brother in law also know.(the nice bit was my sis just gave me a hug).Idon't feel able to tell my brothers just yet although I do intend to.I don't however think I could put my elderly parents through the trauma though as the shock would probably finish my dad off.
There is one aspect of all this that is constantly nagging away at me and that is that as time goes by I feel more and more that I am ts and not tv.
To be able to get on with my life I need to sort this out,hence I'm looking to talk/correspond with ts's both pre and post op although preferably post op so I can share experiences and feelings.
