About Me:

I am Kristina and I live in Atlanta, Georgia. I enjoy all things related to computers, and have a college degree in Computer Science to back it up. Although I'm not born Southern, I love the way of life here, save for the ridiculous religious prejudices that exist outside of the "big city". I like to sleep in on Sundays, sip a tall glass of sweet tea on a warm summer day, and watch a Braves game live at Turner Field with Chipper Jones hitting it out of the park for the screaming fans to win the game.

That being said, I'm not all southern grace and charm. I'm a tomboy at heart and love to get dirty working on my car, which is my pride and joy. Most would say it is just a run-of-the-mill late-model Chevy, but to me it is one of the most beautiful machines on the planet, and I get to drive it every day. (Be warned, if you ask me about my car, you'll beg me to stop talking about it!)

I like to think I'm not only educated from books, but also from life. I have lived in many places and met a great number of people from all walks of life and many nationalities, courtesy of the USMC, where I was paid to maintain radio equipment for the grunts. It was a lot of fun, but in the end I had to find a new path.

Although I'm a trans-woman, I'm actually a lot more. I think people place far too much emphasis on gender and ------ orientation, and I blame religious entities for it, but that is a whole other conversation. The truth of the matter is, everyone is a human being, and until you show aspects of being anti-social in nature, you should be seen as a human being. That is my life's dream, to see others as and to be seen as a human being, and not an oddity for people to make fun of, or judge. Everyone has their own "peculiarities", and we should understand that as a race of equals, rather than deciding which ones rate higher than others.
