Just slightly enegmatic I suppose I'm looking for a boyfriend. This is difficult for me, and since I'm fine with dating a guy who is trans, I figured I'd see if there's anybody here who's not on, say, okcupid.

I tend to give people a first impression that's completely opposite of how I really am. I'm very quiet and reserved normally, and passive. It takes me a while to open up. I think I can be a little too trusting of people in general as well. Trust is very important to me, and I can't stand people who lie. I'm starting to develop a fear about falling in love due to this; I don't think there really are any truly honest guys out there. (including those who claim to be so in their profiles. (and I'm aware of the irony.)) Finally, I tend to be very supportive of people, often at my own expense. I'm trying to change this, as it's really bad for my mental health I think. More so when you have nobody around who's willing to hold you when you're the one who is crying. To be more specific on this, when somebody needs my help, I'm always there for them, and I do whatever it takes to help them. Given a choice, when I'm not in the middle of something, I wouldn't choose to be the one with responsibility, but I'll take it the moment I see somebody needs something, and won't regret it. It's just I wish I had somebody who would do the same for me. I'm also trying very hard not to turn emo. I don't think I could pull off the look.
