FTM 'elder' looking for something... I now know I don't want to be alone forever. Let's just start simple and take it slow, and see what happens... I hope to meet someone who will accept and appreciate me for who I am. I'm a learner -- I'm naturally curious about the world and people and want to understand things. Over the years it's led me to a pretty broad general knowledge base so I'm happy to chat about all kinds of things without judging; I'm pretty unshockable. Spirituality is an important part of my life -- I don't ask or expect that you share that but respecting it is a must. Don't worry, I'm not interested in converting anyone. I transitioned over ten years ago and have spent my time since single, getting to know myself if you like. I did think I wanted to stay single permanently but as time has marched on I find myself less cocky and more willing to admit when I'm lonely and just need a companion. I'm looking for a man who is pretty independent as I tend to need my own space at times, but indulge me with that and I'll reward you tenfold with loyalty, total acceptance, understanding and anything else I've got. I'm just living here in the rural wilds in a massive house and it'd be nice to have someone to share all this space with sometimes. I'm currently studying at the Open University towards a career in teaching. In the past I've specialised in languages and humanities and have done private tuition but for the most part have been a man of leisure as I haven't had to work. That's about to change though -- hence the plan!
