Shygirlabby, 33

I have recently realised that my whole life I have been living with the feminine side of me trying to come out, only now am I starting to accept it. I am still "in the closet" as cliche as that is and I'm terrified of coming out to anyone. The most I've done is venture out for a walk around the block dressed completely in femme attire, makeup and wig. I live with housemates but lock myself in my room most the time dressed and living as my female self, Abby. Most people in my real life know me as a real "manly guy" but I recon if they really took a minute to think about how I am they may just realise yet I doubt many would accept it. My family I dont think would ever understand, they are a very upper/middle class and "normal" family, my dad however quite old fashioned and ex military is anything but accepting of anything considered "gay" and has always drilled that into me. What he doesn't know however is that my childhood best mate who he thinks is a great role model for me actually came out to me as being bisexual before he did to anyone else. Sorry to ramble on, I just want to use this site to meet people who may be able to talk about this world with as I'm fairly new to it, and to do that you have to know my back story!
I now live away from family (2hours driving) and have done for almost 5 years now (so I know alot of people in my new area too)
My main purpose for signing upto this site is for help advice and friendship from others who are in my position, been there, or just understand/accept it. Meeting someone for more than that in life would be a bonus. Please feel free to message me! I'm 23 so only young but I feel maybe a little later than some in life to be joining this community perhaps, but I would mainly like to speak to those who are younger like myself as I feel more comfortable that way.
