I'm a sort of lifetime traveler, having lived border-to-border and coast-to-coast, and traveled quite a lot in remote and unusual places.
All this has left me with an abiding curiosity and respect for that and those which are out of the prevailing norm.
Would love to meet someone similar, who can take the conversation above sports, fashion and the weather.
My tastes and interests are eclectic, and I find it very difficult to reply to "What's your favorite ___?"
I love all things outdoors and in all seasons; don't like cities; love animals and have an implausible dawg;
compulsive reader; love (almost) all music and have a ton of vinyl and CDs, jazz, blues, rock, classical; no slave to fashion, but I can clean up; very -------; like to cook, indoors and out; love a variety of styles and cuisines, one-pot to 7-course; like to live in small places with lots of flavor and character, where I can pee off the porch if I want to.
I'd love to find a lady amenable to such a creature as I/we (can't forget the dawg), and who comes with her own set of quirks and parameters, but not a lot of baggage. And absolutely, positively and without question, No Drama.
We can nourish ourselves by chewing on life and its ironies, and washing them down with a homebrew. We bring the collective courage and character to deal with life together, and each day that doesn't kill us serves to make us stronger and wiser. Most of all, we laugh. If not, it will not and cannot work. Life's a funny business, and there's just not much of it to be taken seriously. But then this is all just me. Your mileage may vary.
