i am a grad student in psychology and a spoken word poet who believes in the power of reference books and tattoos (i have 9 words, 9 numbers, and a skyline so far). in school i study girls and masculinity, but in reality i spend most of my time reading/writing poetry and attending readings, slams, etc around town. because i grew up in louisville, ky and lived in cincinnati, oh for years, i have a southern accent that increases exponentially when jim beam is applied. on nice days i prefer the cemetery to the park. i almost always eat a bagel for breakfast. more of my shirts are blue than any other color. i am pre-op, pre-hormone, pre-decision, transmasculine-identifed, female-bodied individual (just to cover all the hyphenated bases). i suppose i am looking for a date or two, or whatever happens organically.
