Yes, I am transsexual, but I want to be noticed, to be affirmed, and to be loved, not just for who I am as a transsexual woman, but for who I am as a person, for what I want for my life, for my dreams and my passions.

Someone once said, "We are not physical beings which possess a spirit; we are beings comprised of spirit, searching for meaning, living in a mortal shell as transient as sand in the wind." I believe in the power of Runes, Tarot, Numerology and Astrology, but I do not let these beliefs dominate my life and my choices. My path is my own, as is my mind, and those things are merely guides to assist me along the way so that I can make the most informed choices.

I believe that magic is all around us, ever present in our everyday lives, waiting to be seen by those few who believe that just because you cannot see something, doesn't mean it isn't there. Much like a rainbow; it becomes visible only when there are moisture particles in the air to refract the light particles, but the rainbow is always there, seen or unseen.

If you cannot believe in magic, how then, can you believe in love? Love is a power all people know exists, just as we all know that fear exists, and yet love is a force rarely understood. But in order to fully enjoy its benefits, you must trust in the love you feel without complete knowledge of its innerworkings. Love is the emotional human response to a sense of spiritual veracity that you have come to possess something personally precious and profound. Love cannot be measured with science, defeated with skepticism, or its power lessened by those who fear becoming vulnerable to it.
