I am interested in getting to know other people who enjoy playing with gender roles, particularly women who like to perform being a man. I would like to explore my "masculine" side. I am fairly "feminine" in the "real world," but I often long to play the role of a man and to be around others who would accept me as a man. My idea of being a man is a rather androgynous conception--not an exaggerated version of masculinity. My ideal masculine self would be the suave, elegant, gentleman type (in a very nice suit).
Right now I am pretty confused about my feelings. I have no intention of becoming a man full-time (either through gender reassignment or trying to pass as a man), but I would like to have a space where I feel safe to play out my inner desires.
I am a married woman, and I am very loyal to my husband, so I am not interested in ------ relationships.
I am very interested to hear about others' experiences with gender roles. Please share any advice, stories, etc. as I find this whole topic fascinating.
