I'm actually looking for someone who I can get along with on all levels. I'm very interested in different cultures and politics. I'm very liberal/leftist and I'm not at all spiritual, but I enjoy learning about religion. I think that people have different aspects and sides to them, and while I also have different sides, I think that intellect and sticking up for one's principles is important. I am looking for someone I can connect with and maybe even establish something longer term with. I think I'm going to be in Madison for a while.

****Note: I don't think of gender in terms of a binary so much as a spectrum. I respect that many transitioning women want to be viewed as women, and I do. But I believe that one's gender identity is ultimately up to them. I enjoy talking about gender issues, and at the same time I think that people should not let themselves be distracted by personal identity, when identity as a human being is much more important.
All in all, I'm not looking for a one night stand. I'm hoping for a relationship, or even a strong friendship.
