I am an admirer and this is how I became an admirer. During the time I spent incarecated,one day they brought a woman to our cell block, everone was surprised,but then I realized that they wouldn't do this so this had to be a transgender person. I am straight so this caused me mental confusion,I have to call he a she because he was more of a she than a he,if this makes any sense. So anyway she was in a cell adjacent to mine and we could see each other. We were in a high risk cell block so we were housed only one inmate to a cell. They kept her locked down almost all the time ,while we were out she was kept on locked down, they would let her out only when the rest of us were locked down. She would be out for only one hour,so this time she would shower because no one could see. We became friends, she would converse thru the bars while we were all on lock down. When ever I was out I would sneak her some candy or food items. If they caught you by her cell they would keep you locked up from 5 to 10 days. After a long while they would let her come out into the day room with us for a small period of time. During this time she persuaded me into playing spades with her and a few hispanics,she was Puerto Rician, in this manner I learned a little Spanish. One day they let her out of jail,when she left I then realized that her presence there had made my stay more bareable than it would had been if she wasn't there. After she left I became a jail house lawyer and I helped people get realased or a more fair sentance. I eventualy got my own release. Because she had taught me a little Spanish, I was able to help and assist those who spoke no English with there cases. If you are black and poor the state will screw you, if you are white and poor the state will not screw you as much, but if your poor,hispanic and can't speak or understand English,they will break it off in you and that is only the beginning.I know she likes the internet maybe I will see my friend here,but I am curious.
